Vertical Wind Tunnel (VWT)

The Vertical Wind Tunnel (VWT) is run by a 1200 horse power MTU Mercedes-Benz engine, transferring power to a 12-wing propeller. The propeller wings are made of aluminum, shaped and fine tuned using 3D CNC routing. It can generate a velocity of 50-70 m/s on a 3500 mm diameter.

A 5000 l fuel tank is located right under the engine.
The construction is partly galvanized.

The VWT is an indoor facility, but of an open type, and can accommodate an audience of 200. By its design and its quality, our VWT is unique in the European Union.

Our VWT concept, combined with a great wing design, has helped us lower amount of noise, reducing it to tolerable city noise limits.
